Paul Mackrell is an award winning banjo player who has carried the instrument at his side for over twenty-five years. Over the last several years, he has taken 1st place in the "traditional" category at the Deer Creek Fiddlers Convention. He can also sing and swing on guitar, and is revered by musicians as a master in the style of chicken pickin'.
